Review: Origins "Drink Up" Mask

Rating: 8 out of 10
Skin Type: Dry, Combination, or Normal.
Me: This is such a good moisturizing mask! It's really good when your skin needs a little more moisture when it's dry, especially during the winter months. I don't use this mask as often because I have combination skin, so it's not really dry. When I do use it, it leaves my skin very soft, moisturized, and just drenched with happiness.
How to: After washing and drying your face, apply this mask on. Be careful when you squeeze it out, it's a little runny. Apply an even layer on your face, and then wash it off after about 10-15 mintues. After the mask, you can apply a toner and moisturizer.
Price: $21 I would say it's a very good price because I don't use it often, and so it's pretty cheap for a mask that deeply moisturizes your face.
Quality: It really does its job as a moisturizing mask. When your skin just feels dull or dry, put this on, and it's instantly refreshed and moisturized. (There's also "Drink Up Intensive" for really dry skin.)
Smell: This is the best smelling mask ever! It has a light springy smell, a mix of lychee, sweetness, and freshness. I love love love it's smell!
Texture: It has a clear liquidy consistency. Kinda translucent in a way, and when you put it on your skin, it's like a sweet milky veil.
Packaging: It's a great tube for it's liquidy consistency.
Amount: 3.4 fl. oz./100 ml

Review: Origins "Out of Trouble" Mask

Rating: 9 out of 10
Skin Type: All Skin Types
Me: This was my very first mask at Origins. I really really loved it. It's a gentle mask that really does its work. I use this when my skin is having trouble, like during my TOM... It clears up my skin, and it's visible too. Amazing mask! It just takes out all the impurities out of my skin, leaving it fresh and clean.
How to: Apply this mask after washing and drying your face. Squeeze out a reasonable amount and spread it on your face section by section. Apply a thin layer on your face and a thicker layer on your trouble areas. After about 15 minutes, wash the mask off with lukewarm water; since the mask is a little hard to take off, you can also use a sponge to wash it off. After the mask, you can use a toner and moisturizer.
Price: $21 Not bad, mine lasted me for about 4 months, depending on how often I use it.
Quality: A great mask! It's a really good mask for a good price too, really worth the buy.
Smell: It smells really nice! It has a light scent, like a refreshing citrus mint smell. I honestly love the smell, it's so nice and light, it feels really cool too.
Texture: The mask has a mousse like texture. But once you spread it on, it spreads like a cream. Once it's on your face, the mint just blows you off, your skin feels so cool and really good too. It doesn't completely dry out in 10 minutes, and it's a little hard to wash off too because it's like washing off lotion off your face.
Packaging: The tube makes it easily accessible, but it's kinda hard to squeeze out towards the end.
Amount: 3.4 fl. oz./100 ml

Review: Origins "Clear Improvement" Mask

Rating: 9 out of 10
Skin Type: All skin types or acne prone skin
Me: I really really love this mask! It really does what it says; literally, my skin feels so good after this. A real CLEAR IMPROVEMENT. It clears up my skin when I need it to clear up, and renews my dull skin. At first I was like... it's gray, yuck. But it sucks out all the pollution and things that clog my pores up, leaving my skin feeling new and clean.
How to: Apply this after washing your face and drying it. Squeeze out a reasonable amount and apply it on your face section by section. Make sure to cover your face with a reasonably thin layer, and a thicker layer on your more troubled areas. Wait about 10-15 minutes or until it's dry; you can feel it dry when you can move your face. Wash it off with lukewarm water; it's a little hard to wash off, so you can use a sponge if you like. After the mask, you can apply a toner and moisturizer.
Price: $21 Really not a bad price for such a great product. 1 tube lasts me for like 6 months cause I use it like 1-3 times a month, and not a lot either.
Quality: It's a really good mask that I can depend on when my skin is having issues.
Smell: Hmm... Not a really great smell, but not an unpleasant smell either. It's a Charcoal mask, so I guess it smells.. dull, dark, and bitter? Haha, I really don't know how to explain it, but I don't mine the smell at all.
Texture: It has a thick cream consistency that won't run but is easily spreadable. You really just need a thin layer on your face, and a thicker layer on trouble spots, like on T-zones or where you have trouble on your face. Basically, just spread it on your face, let it dry, and wash it off. It takes like 10 minutes for it to dry, but you'll know, cause it's gonna hurt when you try to move your face. It's hard to wash it off, so using a facial sponge or brush would be easier and better.
Packaging: Smart packaging, something that is easily accessible; however, it's hard when you get towards the end of the tube.
Amount: 3.4 fl. oz./100 ml

Review: Aveeno "Clear Complexion" Daily Cleansing Pads

Rating: 8 out of 10
Skin Type: All Skin Types
Me: I really really love this! I usually don't get cleansing pads, but because I started going to the gym, this got really handy. Not only is it handy, but it's an awesome cleanser! It deep cleanses, but really gently, so it's not harsh to my skin. Really does cure my acne, but it sometimes leaves my skin feeling a little tight and dry.
How to: Wet your face, and take one of the pads (using the textured side), and gently cleanse your face in a circular motion. (You can feel the texture of pad on your skin.) While washing off the cleanser from the pad, use the other side of the pad (plain side) and gently go over your face again as your washing it off, and then thoroughly wash your face. After washing your face, apply your toner and moisturizer.
Price: $7 This may be a drugstore brand, but it's honestly one of the best cleansers I've used. Totally worth the buy.
Quality: Such a great cleanser at a low price! It's really something that I love at such a great price. It's a great quality, and it's gentle because of the natural ingredients.
Smell: It smells fresh, like a cucumber soapy smell. It's a refreshing smell that I really don't mind at all.
Texture: The pad has two textures, one side is just a normal plain one, and the other has more definition. The two textures are great. When I feel that my skin needs some extra help, I would use the textured side to exfoliate and deep cleanse. When my skin is tired, and sensitive, I would use the plain side of it. All you really do is rub the pad in circular motion on wet skin and it gets pretty soapy, and I like that; it feels like my skin is getting renewed.
Packaging: Hmm... I guess the container is a little bulky.. Wish it was smaller so it's more convenient, but then again the pads are pretty big as well.
Amount: 25 Self-Foaming, Dual-Textured Pads

Review: Origins "Plantidote Mega-Mushroom" Face Serum

Rating: 6 out of 10
Skin Type: All Skin Types
Me: When I got this I was really exited because it was suppose to protect my skin and prevent acne... Well, it did cure my acne a little bit, but I guess that's all it's gonna do. I put this on after my toner, and then my moisturizer. It says you can use this AM and PM, but I prefer this on PM only since I have other things on my face during the day, so this serum acts like a protector/repairer for my skin at night.
How to: Use this serum AM/PM; after washing your face and applying a toner. Pump a small amount, about a dime-size (1/2-1 pump) and gently massage it onto your skin. Then, you can apply your moisturizer afterwards.
Price: $66 Honestly... I think this is overprice for this. I mean, yea its pretty expensive stuff in there, but for what it does, I would say it's not really worth it... This bottle lasted me for like 2 years, and I'm still using it, so I guess the price isn't THAT bad for this serum.
Quality: I guess it's a good quality, it does work on my skin like a veil of protection.
Smell: Not a really pleasant smell, but it's not awful either. Kinda smells like a light citrus ginger? Don't worry, the smell won't linger. It does smell fresh though, so that's a plus.
Texture: Very liqudy, but nice. The serum is light, so when you put it on, your skin just soaks it in. It's like a soft veil of protection for your skin.
Packaging: Packaging is perfect for the serum. One pump is enough, so it's a good pump. The thick bottle gives it ultimate protection for the "delicate" serum inside. I like the packaging on this, very smart.
Amount: 1.7 fl. oz./50 ml

Review: Origins "Balanced Diet" Moisturizer

Rating: 8 out of 10
Skin Type: Combination or Normal
Me: I have combination skin, so this is really a "Balanced Diet" It leaves my skin moist everywhere, and it evens out my skin too. (Not oily in some and dry in some, perfect combo!) You can use this day or night; during the day, you can use this under a sunscreen like I do because it's so light. I've been using this moisturizer for 2 years, and I am perfectly happy with this moisturizer, I really do love it. I wish it had SPF in it though...
How to: Use A.M. and P.M. daily after washing your face. (Use after your toner.) Pour a little bit out and dab it on your forehead, nose, cheeks, chin, neck, and then massage it into your skin and until your skin soaks up all the goodness.
Price: $25 I think this is a good price for this bottle. Personally, it lasts me about 3-6 months, so it's a pretty good deal for an au natural moisturizer.
Quality: It's a really great quality for it's price, very nice. Love, love, love!
Smell: Smells so good! It has a really light smell, but a really easy one too. I think it smells kind of fruity, yet FRESH. It just has a really great smell, it's probably one of my favorite smells of all time.
Texture: LIGHT! It's not a heavy cream moisturizer, but more of a liquidy moisturizer. It's really light, so once you put it on you can feel like your skin is moisturized, and breathable too. However, I would say sometimes it's so light, that my skin is dry; mostly during the winter months. PERFECT for summer though.
Packaging: Not so great... It's an open bottle, so it spills right from the bottle. Sometimes if your not careful, you'll pour too much, but it's fairly easy to put it back in.
Amount: 1.7 fl. oz./50 ml
